HKPE Hofkammer Projektentwicklung GmbH from Ludwigsburg is planning the construction of a new neighbourhood with residential and commercial buildings in Mühlacker. Mühlacker is located in the north-west of Baden-Württemberg, approx. 12 kilometres from Pforzheim and around 25 minutes by train from Stuttgart.
In the course of this project, buildings and foundation components have to be dismantled on the approx. 25-hectare former brickworks site. To this end, MuP Umwelttechnik GmbH from Heidelberg worked on various sub-projects as a subcontractor of Re2area GmbH, which was commissioned with an extensive overall project:
The buildings were analysed in advance by MuP Umwelttechnik GmbH and the demolition was planned. MuP Umwelttechnik GmbH also analysed the fillings that had been created over a total of more than 150 years of use and classified them according to waste legislation. A demolition and disposal concept was drawn up for the existing buildings. An important component of the construction measures is skilful soil management, resulting in the disposal of as little material as possible and with an optimised recycling rate for soil and processed mineral demolition material.
The last brick hall has already been largely demolished. Now only the administration building has to be dismantled, then the approx. 25 ha area will be cleared of buildings. All the work was planned and supervised by MuP Umwelttechnik GmbH.
After MuP Umwelttechnik GmbH had already carried out the necessary waste and soil protection investigations in advance, the company was now also commissioned to examine the buildability of the north-eastern part of the site with regard to geotechnical, waste and soil protection aspects.
